 Heating Control Upgrade Only

Without replacing your existing oil or gas boiler you can have your heating controls upgraded to save on your heating system fuel usage. A heating control upgrade can cost as little as €950 and is eligible for a €600 SEAI grant – so the cost to you would only be €350. The heating control upgrade includes (where required):
  • Thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs)
  • New 7-day timer control installation
  • Hot water cylinder thermostat

 Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs)

Thermostatic Radiator Valve as installed as part of a heating controls upgrade by Walsh Heating and Plumbing, Waterford, Cork & Tipperary, Ireland

Thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) allow individual radiators to be thermostatically adjusted to control the temperature in each room of your house. TRVs are excellent if there are rooms in your house that are infrequently used as you can keep the temperature turned down in those areas.

With a 7-day timer control you can set your heating to switch on and off at set times each day - installed as part of a heating controls update by Walsh Heating and Plumbing, Waterford, Tipperary & Cork, Ireland

7-Day Timer Control

The easy to use timer control allows you to control the operation of your radiators and hot water at the push of a button. With a 7-day timer control you can set your heating to switch on and off at set times each day. You can also programme different times for your room heating and hot water separately. The control allows you to have just your radiators on or only your hot water, or both simultaneously.

 Hot water cylinder thermostat

A modern thermostat on your hot water cylinder will regulate your hot water temperature to prevent overheating of water. This saves energy by reducing the need to add cold water for washing or bathing.
